DESCRIPTION OF THE CAMP:
Does your child talk about Parkour all the time, but you don't even know what it is? Then you check it out on YouTube and think to yourself "Oh my! I wish there was a place for them to learn this stuff safely."
Well this is the camp you've been waiting for! Imagine a week of learning to jump, twist and swing all over the place. We will teach your child the fundamentals of Parkour including footwork, rolling techniques, and proper inversions. If they want to flip... we can do that! And we'll make sure they do it safely and correctly.
This is sure to be an awesome camp experience!
A DAY AT CAMP FEATURES:
2 to 3 Hours of Parkour on multiple disciplines:
5-days CAMP ITINERARY:
Day 1/Monday: Regular Camp Day (focus on Gymnastics/Parkour with minimal activities throughout the day)
Day 2/Tuesday: Ninja Warrior Day. All campers will attempt a Parkour Obstacle Course in the afternoon.
Day 3/Wednesday: Theme Activities or Pyjama Day. Athletes can come to camp in their pyjamas and the coaches will have a mix of activities featured from our most popular Summer Camp weeks: Superhero Week, Sports Week & Disney Week.
Day 4/Thursday: Crafts & Trivia. Younger athletes will do a craft. Older athletes will do trivia.
Day 5/Friday: Starr Idol. Starr coaches will put on a show for the athletes.
If a week of Camp has less than 5 days, then we follow the Day 1, Day 2 etc schedule.
Daily Camp Schedule:
9:00 - 10:00 - Gymnastics
10:00 - 10:20 - Snack time
10:20 - 11:50 - Gymnastics and Games
11:50 - 12:20 - Lunch time
12:20 - 13:10 - Group Games
13:10 - 14:10 - Special Daily Activity
14:10 - 14:30 - Snack time
14:30 - 15:40 - Gymnastics
15:40 - 16:00 - Quiet Games and Wrap Up
